We cannot thank Julie enough for creating and delivering our personalised ceremony on the beach. It was better than we could ever have imagined, Julie was excellent from the beginning in guiding and helping us to determine the type of ceremony we wanted.

Considering how nervous we were, we both enjoyed the ceremony far more than we expected and it is a day we will never forget. Julie helped us to prepare and eased our nerves with a rehearsal. Our friends and family commented on how well the ceremony was executed by Julie.  

Julie met with us on multiple occasions, and so much time went into creating our truly fantastic ceremony. We would not hesitate to recommend Julie!

After an eventful year of cancellation our wedding finally took place 5th June 2021 at Gellifawr Woodland Retreat.

We contacted Julie at Start with the Heart Weddings just 2 weeks before the date as due to Covid restrictions our Celebrant was unable to travel, we were very lucky that she was available and from the first phone call we were at ease that Julie would give us the ceremony we wanted. In every way shape and form Julie pulled out all the stops! Her research and contact with both myself and my husband meant that the script for our ceremony was perfect! It was warm, funny and exactly what we had wanted. 

We chose a hand fasting ceremony to bind us and our children together as a family, this was a difficult ask as it’s usually done just with the bride and groom, but Julie had managed to include our four children and read the most beautiful words that will stay with me forever, there wasn’t a dry eye and everyone commented on how beautiful it was. 

A few weeks after our wedding we received a printed version of our wedding script in a presentation box bound with lavender through the post, such a beautiful touch. Thank you once again Julie for making our ceremony so special.

Julie conducted our wedding in May, and we honestly couldn't have wished for a better experience! Julie spent weeks chatting to us and making the ceremony as fun and personal as possible. Having a friend marry us was extra special, and we're so grateful we got to share our day with someone that knew us so well.
